Technical Assessment
Small, inexpensive wired 2K camera with genuinely subscription-free continuous local recording (unlike this shortlist’s Tapo C420S2 and Wyze v4, its detection features do not require a paid plan per its own reviewers). PCMag Editors’ Choice; UL certified and part of CISA’s Secure by Design pledge. Main limitation is a weak built-in microphone and no HomeKit support.
